2024 - 2025 Marching Season

Following is a list of details concerning the 2024 - 2025 marching season as provided by our director Mr. Charlie Mitchell. Information below subject to change - thanks for your understanding!

• Marching Band Fee. Estimated Marching Band Fee $200 per student. Mr. Mitchell will provide payment instructions through MySchoolBucks account. The fee covers the following.

  • • Shoes if needed.

    • Gloves.

    • Music.

    • Drill.

    • Guard Uniforms.

    • Sticks and Mallets.

    • Shirts.

• Band Camp. Dates below subject to change.

  • • July 29 - August 9.

    • Evening/Night Practices August 13 and 14.

• Football Home Game Dates. Marching Eagles provide music from the stands and perform the field show during halftime.

  • • Fri. Sept 13: 7pm game vs. Langley HS

    • Fri. Oct 4: 7pm game vs. John Lewis HS

    • Fri. Oct 18: 7pm game vs. Annandale HS - HOMECOMING game and 8th Grade Night!

    • Fri. Nov 8: 7pm game vs. Mount Vernon HS - SENIOR night!

• Competition Dates. Times TBA. Students report to Edison High School for practice prior to competition and will travel together to and from each competition by bus.

  • • Sat. Sept. 28: Herndon Showcase (Herndon HS)

    • Sat. Oct. 5: South County (South County HS)

    • Sat. Oct. 19: Oakton Classic (Oakton HS

    • Sat. Oct. 26: VBODA (Assessment) and Freedom Showcase (Competition at Freedom HS).
