Dear EHS Band Families and Friends,
We hope you will support our students on our 2026 Tag Day. See important details below. Click here to learn about volunteer opportunities.
Tag Day Schedule (tentative): 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
(subject to some modification due to rain, heat, etc. - thanks for your flexibility!)

8:15 am: MORNING PREP - Arrive at band room for all morning shift participants. (We appreciate food donations a bit early - from 8:10am)
Drivers receive instructions,
Students change into uniforms,
Everyone has breakfast.9:00 am: MORNING SHIFT Students + Drivers depart EHS
12:00 pm: Students + Drivers return to EHS for LUNCH BREAK!
12:45 pm: AFTERNOON PREP
Drivers receive instructions.
Students dress in band uniforms.
Everyone takes a break and enjoys lunch.1:00 pm: AFTERNOON SHIFT Students + Drivers depart EHS
4:00 pm: Students + Drivers return to EHS and the day is OVER.
Drivers turn over money collected,
EVERYONE celebrates a job well done!
We will need drivers and some food contributions!

IMPORTANT INFO FOR DRIVERS:
Drivers must complete and return this Field Trip Driver's License /Insurance Form in advance. Please provide your completed form to Ms. Kinsey (through your student) or email her at kpholland@fcps.edu.

Tag Day is one of the biggest fundraising events for the Edison Bands! On Tag Day, all Edison Band students dressed in school regalia walk door-to-door in the neighborhoods handing out flyers with information about the band while asking for contributions. The money raised helps fund music instruction, uniforms and instruments. Last year our students raised nearly $11,000 in just ONE DAY! That is a huge help for our band program and participants.
